Anthony Christian Butler, age 34, of Pittsburgh, formerly of White Oak, died on Thursday, July 1, 2021. He was born in McKeesport on September 3, 1986 and is the son of Toni Gonzales of White Oak and the late Vincent Simmons.
He attended McKeesport High School and had been on the wrestling team. He was a former employee of Wilder Contracting and also an independent contractor. He also worked at Mad Mex and Clean & Fresh of Homestead. He was a talented tattoo artist, barber and an artist.
In addition to his mother, Toni Gonzales, he is survived by his son, Isiah Butler of McKeesport; brothers, Marcelle (Heather) Butler of McKeesport and Caulin Gonzales of Penn Hills; sisters, Lundyn Murphy of Robinson Twp., Chantal Simmons of McKeesport, Brittney Simmons of Pittsburgh, and Chrystal Simmons of Pittsburgh; maternal grandparents, Howard and Jessie Gonzales of White Oak; paternal grandmother, Rosalie Simmons; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur McKissich.
Anthony was a son, brother, grandson, father, and nephew who has left many with an everlasting impact and “great” memories that we will cherish always. He was a good listener, hard worker, and great person with a gentle soul. He will be truly and greatly missed !!! He will be forever in our hearts and his memory will live with his family forever . . .

A family gathering was held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Burial followed.
