Barbara L Petroski

Barbara L. Petroski, age 84, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born in Braddock on December 13, 1936 and is the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Kobus Sandor and the wife of the late Anthony Petroski.

She is survived by her daughter, Janine (Charles) Kapcin of North Huntingdon; son-in-law, David McGartland, granddaughter, Erica (James, Jr.) Chmill of North Braddock; great-grandson, Alex Chmill; sister, Renee (Dale) Cromling of North Braddock; niece, Aimee (Matthew) Swope, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laureen McGartland, and brother, Eugene Sandor.

Family will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 1600 Brinton Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, at 10 a.m. on Monday, April,19 2021. Entombment will follow.

The family and our team members appreciate that all visitors follow the current CDC guidelines including wearing of masks, social distancing, and capacity limits. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding. The family also wants everyone to know that they completely understand if anyone is not comfortable with visiting and paying their respects during this pandemic.
