Basil C. Youhouse

Basil C. Youhouse, age 81 of McKeesport, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018. He was born December 1, 1936 in Brownsville, PA, the son of the late Frank and Helen Sweany Youhouse and husband of the late Norita Jean Goodnight Youhouse. Basil worked at HB South Printing for 55 years until his retirement. He was a member of the former Swedish Club in McKeesport and PBOE Elks. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, casino trips and going out to dinner. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Sisko of Cape Coral, Florida, Sandy Youhouse of McKeesport, sister, Ethel (Richard) Aglietti of Trafford, grandchildren, Ryan (Jen) Sisko of Greensburg and Tiffany (Jen) Hein of Belle Vernon, great grandchildren, Nora and Lily, also nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Frankie Ross Youhouse. Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191). Parastas will be held Friday at 3:45 pm. Liturgy will be held Saturday at 10 am at St. Nicholas Church, 410 Sixth St., McKeesport, PA 15132 with Fr. Donald Voss officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery.
