Betty V. Ruccio

Betty V. Ruccio (McAdoo), age 94, of White Oak, an amazing character whose life was filled with amazing stories, bid us “adieu“ Sunday, January 2, 2022. Appropriately, the peak of the Quadrantid meteor shower lit her way home to join her husband Daniel Ruccio, an equally amazing man and central character in her love story. She was born in McKeesport on April 8, 1927 and is the daughter of the late John and Elsie Peterson McAdoo.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana (Ronald) Fullerton of White Oak; son, Frank (Renee) Shaw of White Oak; grandchildren, William Fullerton, Christina Shaw, Jamie Shaw, Mysti Shaw and Crystal Shaw; great-grandchildren; brother, John McAdoo of White Oak; also nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Pam Shaw; and sisters, Lois Figola and Patricia Monoyoudis.

Services were held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
