Bryan R. Myers, age 70, of Port Vue, died on September 8, 2020. He was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, on July 8, 1950, and is the son of the late Robert and Ruth Gorman Myers, and the husband of Pamela Hetherington Myers. He was a Bronze Star Vietnam Veteran, the retired Chief of Police for the Boro of Port Vue for 8 years, with a total of 20 years of service, the past commander of the Port Vue American Legion post 447, a life member of the Vigilante Hose Co # 1 of Port Vue, a former councilman and mayor of Port Vue and an active member of the South Allegheny School Board for 4 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Bryan (Lea) Myers of Port Vue, Matthew Myers of Elizabeth, Adam Myers of Port Vue, Matthew (Elizabeth) Miller of Bentleyville, and Brandon (Patty) Miller of Monongahela, daughters; Jennifer (Ed) Stockett of Glassport, and Jill (Jason) Bethlehem of Martinsburg, West Virginia, grandchildren, Bailey, Delaney, Nolan, Gavin, Nathan, Rylee and Kayee, brothers; Bruce (Elaine) Myers of Sunbury, Ohio, and Robert Myers of Turnersville, New Jersey, sisters; Christina Myers of Pleasant Hills, Raymona Stine of Cranberry.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Eugene Church 3210 Liberty Way, Liberty Boro, PA 15133, burial to follow with military honors.
