Celeste Wagner, age 60, of Garland, TX, formerly of North Versailles, North Huntingdon and White Oak, PA, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2022 in Dallas, TX. She was born on July 15, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles Wagner and Audrey Duggan Wagner.
Celeste loved music and followed multiple different genres. Her favorite was any live concert, both nationally known artists, as well as, local bands in small venues. She loved to laugh and liked any kind of comedy; TV shows, movies or live stand ups. She was very thoughtful and loved to shop for small items that she thought her family and friends would enjoy. Celeste adored her grandson, Cash, and treasured the time she spent with him. Although she recently lived in Texas, she remained an avid Steelers fan, ready to wear black and gold and cheer for them. Celeste spent most of her life in Pennsylvania, where she worked in various administrative roles for several companies including Beneficial Finance, HSBC, Parkvale Bank and the North Versailles Township Sanitary Authority. In Dallas she worked for the Avalon School of Music and for Walgreens.
Celeste is survived by her son, Jesse Bogesdorfer and his partner, Carlia Botti of North Huntingdon, PA, beloved grandson, Cash Bogesdorfer of North Huntingdon, PA, sister and brother-in-law, Laura and John Henry of Plano, TX, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Debbie Wagner of Garland, TX, brother, Mark Wagner of Lawrenceville, GA, nieces, Eve Hartsell and husband Cole, Pamela Wagner, nephew, Justin Henry and wife Tiffany, grandnieces, Carlie Williams, Aleena Williams and Ava Henry, and grandnephew, Anthony Wagner. She also leaves behind numerous cousins and friends, longtime cherished friends Kathy Zarisky, Gemma Zimmerman, and Mary Rickers and her sweet cat, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Charlie Wagner.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
