Charles W. "Chuck" Burke

Charles W. Burke, age 60 of White Oak, died Thursday, March 1, 2018. He was born January 31, 1958 in McKeesport, the son of the late Charles L. and Jean Surovy Burke. Chuck was an auto mechanic at Graham’s Service Station and then worked for Tennant for 33 years as a supervisor and trainer. He lived a full life, loved his beagles, lumberjacking, and timber sports. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary “Maggie” Ferguson Burke, sisters; Geri (John) Williams of Mechanicsburg, Bonnie (the late Richard) Clark of Elizabeth, Susan (Michael) Burnett of Newnan, GA, Jeannette (John) Peairs of Lincoln Boro, Maria Burke of Whitehall, brother, David (Denise) Burke of Elizabeth, favorite aunt Margaret (the late Herb) Wall of Elizabeth Twp., and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177), from 2 pm until the time of service at 6 pm, with Pastor Gary LaPietra officiating.
