Cleo Jean Elash

Cleo Jean Elash, age 74, of McKeesport, PA, died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. She was born on January 12, 1951, in McKeesport, PA, and is the daughter of the late Howard, Sr. and Mildred Rickard Lindberg. She was a member of the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens.

Cleo is survived by her children, John Jason Elash of McKeesport, PA; and Debbie Vereb of White Oak, PA; grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Elash; Emma Louise Elash; Sarah Ann Elash; and Madison Kathleen Vereb; sisters, Marie (Steve) Kondrosky of McKeesport, PA; Cathy (John) Poroda of Belle Vernon, PA; and Jackie (Lou) Flajnik of McKeesport, PA.

In addition to her parents Cleo is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Elash; and brother, Howard Lindberg, Jr.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6178). Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ray Beard officiating.
