D. Lynn Bowen, age 65, of White Oak, died on Monday, April 25, 2022. She was born in McKeesport on November 12, 1956 and is the daughter of the late Andrew J., Sr. and Ethel Mae Holawaty Bokin. She was a retired chef from Michael’s restaurant in Homestead and Kane Community Living Center in Glen Hazel. She loved to bake, watch spooky movies, and watch TV.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Bowen of White Oak; granddaughter, Nichole Bowen of White Oak; brother-in-law, Carlin Smith of White Oak; brothers, Paul (Paula) Faulds of Munhall; Michael (Agnes) Faulds of West Mifflin; Andrew Bokin, Jr. of White Oak; Ronald (Cheryl) Faulds of White Oak; aunt, Deborah (Lenorad) Takach of Cannonsburg; nieces and nephews, Sharon Mols; Ronald (Kristen) Faulds; Sharon (Matthew) Mols; Samantha (Phil) Thomas; Elysia Faulds; Sarah Faulds; Anthony Faulds; Matthew (Colleen) Faulds; Anastasia (Justin) Ross; great-nieces and great-nephews, Devan; Sophie; Briar; and Sawyer.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Michele Smith.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. when services will be held in the funeral home chapel and officiated by her uncle, Pastor Jack Bokin.
