Daniel Patrick Davis

Daniel Patrick Davis, 67, of Greensburg, died peacefully at Forbes Hospital on October 30, 2023. He was born in Greensburg on November 25, 1955 to Julie and Clayton Davis, the sixth of ten children. Dan attended Latrobe High School before studying Engineering at University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. He briefly lived in Wyoming, working on oil rigs, and California, before returning to Pennsylvania in 1977. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed playing and listening to music at Speal’s Tavern. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael, and his daughter, Mikaela.

He is survived by his children, Danielle, Morgan, and Taylor, his grandchildren, Caryn, Kate, Violet, and Orion, his siblings, Clayton, Timothy, Mary, Cindy, Dorothy, Robert, Rebecca (Cunningham), and Christopher, and nine nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland County, 430 E. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601. Arrangements are being handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Donations to the American Kidney Fund are greatly appreciated.
