Daniel Harry Deaton

Daniel Harry Deaton, age 90, of White Oak, died Monday, June 4, 2018. He was born on September 4, 1927 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the son of the late Earl Mellinger and Irene Tuttle Deaton. Daniel was employed as an apprentice then became the president/CEO of Wayne Crouse, Inc. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Daniel was an avid sailor and enjoyed the time he spent on his sailboat. He is survived by his wife, Lois Yotter Deaton of White Oak; son, David (Elizabeth) Deaton of White Oak; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Daniel is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Deaton and his brother, Earl Deaton.
