Daniel Lee Welty

Daniel Lee Welty, age 76 of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, December 3, 2019.  He was born in McKeesport on March 19, 1943 and is the son of the late Earl and Ann Welty and the husband of the late Catherine Sandusky Welty.  He was a Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam Era.  He then worked at US Steel in McKeesport and later as a driver for Access. He is survived by his daughter, Christie Garber and he husband, Daniel of North Huntingdon; and his granddaughter, Ginerva Garber.  There will be a service on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 310 Oak Street, Irwin, PA  15642, with Pastor Bruce Judy officiating.  Arrangements by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA  15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
