Elizabeth Marie Stipkovits Garish

Elizabeth Marie Stipkovits Garish, age 34, of McKeesport, after a courageous fight with cancer, died Monday, April 16, 2018.  She was born on May 3, 1983 and is the daughter of Joseph Carl and Cheryl Joy Lorincz Stipkovits of McKeesport.  She was previously employed as a medical secretary at Premier Medical and at UPMC, Braddock Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, James Peter Garish; daughter, Maleena Engster at home; maternal grandmother, Doris Ferry (and the late Fred John) Stipkovits of McKeesport; and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents June Olive Evans and Elmer Lorincz. Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM and Sunday April 22 ,2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Church, (2518 Versailles Ave., McK., 15132) at 10 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018. Burial will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
