Ellen I. Showalter

Ellen I. Showalter, age 84, of McKeesport, died Saturday February 11, 2017. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 30, 1932 and is the daughter of the late Robert F. and Marlie Troy Kramer, the wife of the late John F. Showalter and the mother of the late Brian Showalter. She is survived by her daughters, Louise (Frank) Hendrickson of McKeesport, Jeanie (Nick) Marasco of North East, Maryland; sons, Scott (Pam) Carman of Oakridge, Tennessee, and James Showalter of McKeesport; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Claudia Blosser of Fallston, Maryland and Norma (Auggie) Garafalo of New Orleans, Louisianna. Friends will be received Tuesday, February 14th from 11:30 am until the time of service at 1 pm at Striffler’s of McKeesport, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191). Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
