Elmer Edward Pastories

Elmer Edward Pastories, age 73, of McKeesport, died Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was born in McKeesport on September 7, 1948 and is the son of the late Elmer James and Laura Domino Pastories. He is the husband of the late Patricia McDowell Pastories, who died on June 13, 2018. He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and earned one Bronze Star, one Silver Star, and two Purple Hearts. He was employed as a truck driver for Envirotrol for many years.

He is survived by his son, Jerry (Lisa) Pastories of North Huntingdon; daughter, Jeweleen (Christopher Hartzfeld) Pastories-Hartzfeld of McDonald; grandchildren, Elisabeth Hartzfeld and Josiah and Justice Pastories; sister, Barb (Leonard) Mowery of McKeesport; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Williams.

Family and friends may gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow immediately.
