Elsie Josephine Schmidt, age 97, of North Versailles, PA, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. She was born August 2, 1927, in Duquesne, PA, and is the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Mary Moros Chorman.

Elsie is survived by her children, Victor Schmidt of White Oak, PA; Nancy Duban of Warren, PA; and Pam (Mike) Sharp of Glassport, PA; grandchildren, Stacey (James) Bane of Elizabeth, PA; and Jason (Danielle) Schmidt of Pittsburgh, PA; along with great-grandchildren, Tyler Bane; Nathan Bane; Gavin Bane; Jamie Schmidt; and Kelsey Schmidt.

In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Victor; siblings, Ed (Mary) Chorman; Bill (Cora) Chorman; Anne (Anthony) Vajs; Florence (Jack) Dunmore; Ethel (John) Husok; Ceceilia (Bill) Drago; and Nancy (Donald) Danko.

Arrangements were cared for by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) and an entombment took place.
