Florence J. Stokan

Florence J. Stokan, age 90 of North Huntingdon, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Anne Home in Greensburg. She was born in McKeesport on February 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Andrew and Dolores Zagar Simak. She was preceded in death by her husband John Stokan and son John. Florence is survived by daughters; Dolly Stokan of N. Huntingdon and Jocelyn Rothwell of Mars, sons; Ronald (Diane) Stokan of Tucson, AZ, Ralph (Colleen) Stokan of Charleroi, and David Stokan of Elizabeth, brother; Richard (Vincentina) Simak of McKeesport, sisters; Patricia (Ray) Lozano of Elizabeth, and Lois (Michael) Barkac of N. Huntingdon, also grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Monday, April 24th from 2-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 am at Corpus Christi Parish, McKeesport, with Fr. Steven Palsa officiating. Burial will follow.
