Gary G. Tomko

Gary G. Tomko, age 65, of East McKeesport died Saturday, March 11, 2017. Gary’s love for history and music will be remembered as well as his service to the citizens of Pennsylvania through his employment as a social worker for the PA Dept. of Human Services. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean E. (Duffy) Tomko, and his brother, Danny Tomko. Gary is survived by his father, Daniel T. Tomko of White Oak; son, Shawn Tomko of North Versailles; daughter, Jenifer (Jon Sava) Tomko of North Versailles; sister, Cheryl (Terry) Fox of White Oak; sister-in-law, Marcia Tomko; grandsons, Cody and Seth; two nieces and one nephew; one great niece and four great nephews.
Friends are invited to join Gary’s family as they gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Thursday March 16, 2017 from 4 until 8 pm. A service of remembrance will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday March 17, 2017 at 9:30 am with Father Kevin Dominik officiating. Interment will follow.
