Helen Rose Arendas

Helen Rose Arendas, age 98 of N. Versailles, died Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born April 26, 1920 in White Valley, PA, the daughter of the late George and Francis Demshire Previc, and the wife of the late George W. Arendas. She was preceded in death by her son Robert G. Arendas and 12 siblings.  She loved Polka dancing and frequented the Slovenian Ballroom in Herminie, PA. Helen is survived by her sons, David W. (Sue) Arendas of Clarion, PA, George C. (Christine) Arendas of San Diego, CA, daughter-in-law, Roean Arendas of N. Versailles; granddaughters, Nicola (Bruce) Eaton, Erin Arendas and Andrea Arendas, all of San Diego; and great-grandson, Lincoln. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Service, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177).  Service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 am with Chaplain Tony Richardson-Eckes officiating.  Burial will follow.
