Irene Elizabeth Glinton

Irene Elizabeth Glinton, age 94 of McKeesport, died Sunday, May 6, 2018. She was born February 12, 1924 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth McCreary Murphy, and wife of the late Albert Hosea Glinton. She is survived by her daughter Darlene Glinton of Carrick, Granddaughter Tara Holmes of McKeesport, three great grandchildren, Sade McGhee, Tyree Holmes and Trinity White. Irene was preceded in death by her brother John Murphy, and sisters, Rosetta Muhammad, and Martha Martin. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 9th from 11 am until 1 pm at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191). Burial will follow.
