Janet Lou Lundberg

Janet Lou Lundberg, age 87, of Point Pleasant Retirement Community, formerly of Washington Street in McKeesport, died Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born in Pitcairn, on January 25, 1936 and is the daughter of the late Chauncey and Flora Williams Scarbrough. She was the wife of the late James Lundberg and was a self-employed medical transcriptionist, truly enjoyed cooking, cross stitching, reading and many years ago loved to play tennis. She is survived by children, Richard (Jill) Tokarsky of Alexandria, Tenn., James (Chrissy) Lundberg of Monroeville, and Roberta (Jim) Reid of Richmond, Virginia, grandchildren; Erica (Keith) Leverenz, Nicole (Will) Smith, John (Robin) Fath, Kristen (James) Weber, Raymond Fath, Jackie Holsinger, Jessie Williams, and Jenna Lundberg; thirteen great grandchildren; siblings; Margaret Alcorn of Columbus, Ohio and Caroline Warren of Columbus, Ohio and Chauncey Scarbrough, and her loving cat, Sebastian. Janet was preceded in death by daughters; Rebecca Gelet, and Margaret Fath, brother; Wesley Scarbrough and sister Ruth Pici. Arrangements were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) and burial with her husband in Monongahela Cemetery.
