Janet Wanda Ondos

Janet W. Ondos, age 80, of Whitehall, died Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born March 4, 1942 in Export, PA to the late John and Wanda Jurkiewicz Stapinski. She is the wife of the late Michael William Ondos.

Janet is survived by her sons, Mark Ondos of Whitehall and Eric (Jill) Ondos of Pittsburgh, Nana to Alexander, Abigail and Amelia, sister of Stanley John (Fran) Stapinski of Murrysville, cousin of Stanley (Linda) Stapinski, III of White Oak, along with relatives throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Janet was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing her own flowers to make her yard and home welcoming for friends and family. She also enjoyed Polish customs including food at the holidays and other celebrations. She was active in her community including the Parent Teacher Association.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (412 678 6177) from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and burial will follow.
