John E. Chlystek

John E. Chlystek, age 90, of McKeesport, died Saturday, June 15, 2019. He was born June 1, 1929 in McKeesport, the son of the late Adam and Cecilia Weron Chlystek, and was the husband of the late Georgetta Craine Chlystek. John served in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from McKeesport’s former Fort Pitt Steel Casting Company. He is survived by his daughters; Patty Smith of Myrtle, SC, Cathy (Bob) McCort of Blairsville, and Tammy (Lou) Warman of McKeesport; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor  412-678-6177) on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow.
