John Regis Poisel

John Regis Poisel, age 68, of Elizabeth. Died on January 2, 2021. He was born in Pittsburgh and is the son of the late Edward and Rosalia Irene Flynn Poisel and the husband of Catherine Poisel. John served in the United States Air force, during the Vietnam War. John retired from US Steel as a steamfitter and has worked in house keeping for Magee Hospital.

In addition to his wife John is survived by daughters; Rosalia Poisel of Elizabeth, and Heather Kirby Poisel of Squirrel Hill , brother; Daniel Poisel of Monroeville, sisters; Sally Good of Seven Fields, Mary Ellen (Bruce) Renstrom of Scottdale, and Shelia (Eugene) Brady of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He was preceded in death by brothers; Edward and Robert Poisel.

A family gathering was held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
