Katherine Mary Grace Bernthaler

Katherine Mary Grace Bernthaler, age 82, of White Oak, PA, died on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was born in McKeesport, PA on May 26, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Helen B. Funa Koss. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Bernthaler, who died on February 10, 2009. Katherine was employed as a draftsman for various companies throughout her career. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church.

She is survived by her son, Thomas C. (Kayleigh) Bernthaler of White Oak, PA; sisters, Ruth Ann Koss of McKeesport, PA; Helen M. Koss of McKeesport, PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a blessing service in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m. An entombment for the family will take place at Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum of West Mifflin.
