LaVerne Olive Denney

LaVerne Olive Denney, age 93, of West Mifflin, formerly of Port Vue, died on Monday, September 6, 2021. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 16, 1928 and is the daughter of the late John and Olive Taylor Newman. She is the wife of the late Albert Denney, who died on November 22, 2009. She was a secretary for many years in the Pittsburgh area.

She is survived by her cousin, Audrey Kerber of West Mifflin; and second cousins, Kim (Steve) Ragan of West Mifflin; and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Kerber of West Mifflin.

Services will be held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192).
