Martha "Marty" Ley

Martha “Marty” Ley, age 71, of Pittsburgh, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017.  She was born in McKees Rocks on March 14, 1946 and is the daughter of the late Alice Lease Ley.  Marty received her Master’s in Education from Duquesne University and taught elementary education at St. Regis Catholic School in Oakland. She is survived by her dear friend, Gregory Weidner of Pittsburgh.  In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, Philip Ley.  Services were held yesterday at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home of McKeesport, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132.
