Mary A. “Maisy” Welsh, age 90 of McKeesport and Port Vue, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was born January 4, 1928 in McKeesport, the daughter of the late Daniel P. and Agnes Holtz Raible, and the wife of the late James A. Welsh. Mary is survived by sons; James A. (Joann) Welsh, Jr. of Broomall, PA, Timothy (Tina) Welsh of Atlanta, GA, Joseph (Bonnie) Welsh of Elizabeth Twp., Martin (Lynn) Welsh of Rock Hill, SC, Robert (Robin) Welsh of Chapin, SC, Kevin “Casey” Welsh of Toledo, OH, daughters; Peggy (Russell) VanHorn of Bridgeville, Joan (Robert) Ward of Freedom, Patricia (George) Cimba of Lake Placid, FL, Mary Anne (William) O’Brien of White Oak, Susan (Doug) Gilmour of Orlando, FL, 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, sisters; Ann Busch of N. Huntingdon and Sr. Agnes Raible, CDP of Allison Park. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Rita Marie Harrison, Walter, Edwin, Roy, John, and Fr. Daniel Raible. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 23 ONLY from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 25th at 10 am at Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132 with Fr. Steven Palsa officiating. Burial will follow. The family suggests remembrances in Mary’s name be made to Kearns Spirituality Center, a Ministry of Sisters of Divine Providence, 9000 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
