He is also survived by his grandmother; Lois Logan of McKeesport, aunt; Linda Wikowski of White Oak, uncle; Jim Logan of McKeesport, nephew; Ted Wargo of Ashland, MA, and niece; Mary Wargo of Ashland, MA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Stephen and Helen Wargo, and his maternal grandfather; Harry Logan.
Matt was the most loving son and brother anyone could ever imagine. He was always ready to give anyone a hug and a kiss whether you wanted it or not. His smile, which would light up a room, and his laugh were infectious. He especially enjoyed his frequent visits with Mom, Dad and Andy where he could go to the park and enjoy a bacon cheeseburger, fries and his favorite Twinkies, and then a long drive where he would cuddle up with his mom and promptly fall asleep while listening to some favorite music selected especially for him. At Christmas he did not care what was in his present boxes, but really liked tearing off the gift paper and listening to the crackling sound when he played with it. He is loved by many… he will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to extend their love and grateful thanks to the staff and caregivers at Allegheny Valley School, especially Kristy, Georgann, Deanna, and Jeff. Also, many thanks to the nursing and medical staff at Allegheny General Hospital, too many to mention, but especially Luis, Annie and Mike who made Matt’s last days better for Matt and his family. Finally, thank you to his extended “church” family who greatly cared for him (you know who you are).
