Michelle A. Hitchens

Michelle A. Hitchens, age 67, of Glassport, died on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was born in Liberty Borough on February 3, 1955 and is the daughter of the late Michael and Jessica Doucette Sabat. She was a graduate of Duquesne University, where she received her Master’s in Nursing. She retired after 35 years of service as a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Ward where she was the Charge Nurse at UPMC McKeesport Hospital and previously at UPMC Mercy Hospital.

She is survived by her companion, Randy Yuhas of Glassport; son, Bryce (Christina Bailey) Hitchens of White Oak; daughter, and Julie (Daniel) Bressan of Penn Township; stepdaughter, Angeline Yuhas of Jefferson Hills, grandchildren, Avageline Hitchens; Aiden Hitchens; Anderson Hitchens; Julian Bressan; Lillian Bressan; and step-grandson, E’monie Hicks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Sabat.

Services were held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
