Minyone Savilla Makar

Minyone Savilla Makar, age 77, of White Oak died on March 16, 2021. She was born in McKeesport on September 25, 1943 and is the daughter of the late Savilla Blank Osborne and the wife of Joseph Makar. Minyone graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her master’s degree in secondary education. She taught mathematics for 30 1/2 years at McKeesport Area School District. She and her husband, Joe, loved to travel and cruises all over the United States of America, Europe, and South America.
Entombment will take place on March 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp., PA. Arrangements by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
