Nicholas Mellinger

Nicholas Mellinger, age 27, of White Oak, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.  He was born in Pittsburgh, on July 28, 1991 and is the son of Patricia L. (Sinicki) Mellinger of McKeesport and William Mellinger of White Oak.  He was formerly employed as a metal fabricator.    In addition to his parents he is survived by brothers, Regis Mellinger of McKeesport, Billy Mellinger and Andy Mellinger both of White Oak; maternal grandfather, Robert (Patricia) Sinicki of Pittsburgh; paternal grandmother, Carolyn (Cannon) Ivaska of White Oak; and also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends;  He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Lorraine M. (Schuessler) Sinicki and paternal grandfather, Regis Beighley. Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (412-678-6177), on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held at Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church, 1665 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11 am.
