Patricia Marie Doctorick

Patricia Marie Doctorick, age 80, of Port Vue, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born in McKeesport on September 13, 1942 and is the daughter of the late Joseph G. and Ruth Shipley Donnelly. She was the wife of the late Robert Francis Doctorick and the companion of the late Thomas John Dineen. Patricia retired in retail from Sears and later was employed at Homelife, Roomful Express, Wicks, and Macy’s. She was a volunteer at the former St. Joseph’s school in Port Vue. She loved to bake, shop, go to the casino, and dance. Shag dancing was her favorite and she would vacation at Myrtle Beach with her friends during Shag week. She once bought a wedding gown for twenty dollars to wear on Halloween. She really enjoyed spending time dancing on Friday nights at the Twin Oaks Lounge with all her friends. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Ronald) Thomas of Port Vue; Robyn (Wesley) Samosuk of Westminster, MD; Joey Marie (Jonathan) Wakefield of McKeesport; grandchildren, Christine Thomas; Ronald H. Thomas; Mitchell (Breanna) Thomas; Emily Samosuk; Joshua Samosuk; Thomas Samosuk; Wesley (Julie) Samosuk, III; Britnie (Joshua) Boschert; Abigail Wakefield; Hanna Wakefield; Jessica Wakefield; Ethan Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Madilyn; Faith; Jeremy; MacKenzie; Lucas; and sister, Denise Thompson of McKeesport. In addition to her parents, husband, and companion, Patricia is preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Donnelly. Family and friends will gather on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
