Robert Howard Saunders

Robert Howard Saunders, age 82, of North Versailles died on February 18, 2017. He was born in Mifflin Twp. on July 20, 1934 and is the son of the late Samuel and Flossie Jones Saunders. He was an army veteran and was formerly employed at US Steel in the Met Lab.
He is survived by his daughter; Sheila (Kevin) Hensler of Fulton, NY, son; Robert H. (Heather) Saunders, Jr of St. Louis, MO, ex-wife; Mary C. (Larry) Phillips of Oakdale, grandchildren; Christopher, Rachel, Allysa, Adilynn, Mandy, and Stephanie, great-grandchild; Luke, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Tuesday February 21, 2017 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am when services will be held with Pastor Charles Owston officiating.
