Rodney Evans Gates

Rodney Evans Gates, age 79, of White Oak, died on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 15, 1945. He was the son of the late Clifford and Ruth Evans Gates. Rodney proudly served in the United States Army and was later the former president of Geo. V. Hamilton, Inc. in McKees Rocks, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Nunez Gates; children, Julie (Michael) Langsdorf of North Huntingdon, PA; Carie (William) Smith of North Huntingdon, PA; grandchildren, Christian Langsdorf; Rachel Langsdorf; brother, Michael (Mary Pat) Gates of Conemaugh, PA; and springer spaniels, Daisy; and Rex.

Arrangements were cared for by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
