Rosalind J. Gabin Kopelman

Rosalind J. Gabin Kopelman, age 89, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024 with her loving family by her side at Chandler Hall hospice, Newtown, PA.
Born in The Bronx, New York on July 2, 1934 and educated at Hunter College High School, Rosalind then went onto receive a doctorate in literature from USC-Berkeley.
Her career included a professorship from Harvard. She was an avid patron of the metropolitan opera in New York City.
Rosalind and her husband, Gerald traveled extensively in Europe, always in search of cultural horizons. One of her favorites and most passionate adventures was to chair a local women’s book club.
A burial took place next to Rosalind’s first husband, Sanford Gabin, at New Gemilas Chesed Cemetery in White Oak, PA on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Arrangements were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
