Savoy Jimi Brown

Savoy Jimi "Slick" Brown, age 19 of Duquesne, died on September 3, 2020. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on September 3, 2001, Savoy is the son of George E. Brown Jr. and Melonie V. Bradley. He is a senior at West Mifflin Area High School and has attended Propel in McKeesport. He is a dedicated and a hard worker. He enjoyed school, riding his bike, playing sports, loved food, camping and swimming. Above all, his favorite thing to do was to spend the day at Kennywood. He had tremendous love for his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Tiffany Robertson Bussie of Wilmington, Delaware, Kenny Cottingham of McKeesport, Dania Kostyzak of Glassport, Qiuana Brown of Madison Wisconsin, Richard Kostyzak of Economy, Corey Brown of Toledo, Ohio, Eugene Paterson of McKeesport, Cassandra Taylor of Glassport, Jazmin Brown of McKeesport, Britney Brown of Morgantown, West Virginia, Patrisha Brown of Indiana, PA, Toi Brown of McKeesport, Morgan Brown of McKeesport and Katherine Brown of McKeesport, grandfather, George E. Brown Sr., of Duquesne, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Christine Brown, Melvin Gouker, and Patricia Gouker.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Gospel of Jesus Church, 202 South 3rd Street, Duquesne, PA 15110. Family burial will follow.
