Stephanie Hang

Stephanie Hang, age 73, of East McKeesport, PA, died on Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born in Hoi An, Vietnam on October 20, 1949 and is the daughter of the late Si Hang and Mai Xuan Tran. In 1978, Stephanie left Vietnam due to the war to start a new life in the United States. She enjoyed homemaking, cooking various cuisines, watching movies, and sewing. Stephanie was always very friendly and eager to make new friends. She passed her love and passions to her only child. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Dang of Ferndale, MI; her companion of many years, Michael Dang; one brother; and six sisters. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A burial will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Allegheny Cemetery, 4715 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
