Stephen Drechsler

Stephen Drechsler, age 85, of Port Vue, died on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born in Wysowa, Poland on August 5, 1936 and is the son of the late John and Mary Babich Drechsler. He was a member of the United States Army and worked as a line inspector at US Steel for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Kwiatkowski Drechsler; son, John Drechsler of Port Vue; daughter, Cindy (William) Griffiths of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, India Drechsler; and William Griffiths. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sophie Riggin.

Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, Saint Eugene Church, 3210 Liberty Way, Liberty Borough, PA 15133, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow.
