William Edward Manges, Jr., age 60, of White Oak, PA, died Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born October 26, 1963, in Berea, OH. He is finally free from his earthly pains and now at peace.
He retired, after 20 years, as a design engineer at the Elliot Group in Jeannette, PA, where he achieved three international patents. He was also previously a professor at CCAC South. William was a proud member of St. Angela Merici Church, where he volunteered many hours.
William is survived by his wife, Elena Manges; son, Thomas Joseph (Jenna) Manges of White Oak PA; grandsons, Brentlee; Malcolm; and Ryker; many nieces and nephews; as well as his siblings.
William is preceded in death by his son, Brent Manges who died on March 14, 2007.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Parish, St. Angela Merici Church, 1640 Fawcett Ave, White Oak, PA 15131, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow.
