Obituary of Donald Anthony Riggs

 Donald Anthony “Tony” Riggs, age 66, of McKeesport, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019.  Born on April 7, 1953 and is the son of Lula Mae Riggs of McKeesport and the late Robert Bradley.  Donald was a graduate from McKeesport Area High School.  He was previously employed at Rendulic Meat Packing, Christy Park Works and retired from Port Authority after 26 years of service.  Starting from when he was a young boy, he loved all musical instruments, but especially the saxophone, and eventually became a member of The Workshop Band.  In addition, he was a member of the local F & AM Masonic Lodge.  Tony was loved by all who knew him and could be found with a smile on his face.

In addition to his mother, Lula Mae, he is survived by his daughters, April Dutrieuille of McKeesport, Dawn Dutrieuille of Turtle Creek, Sequella Jones of Monroeville and Melanie Allen of McKeesport; 16 grandchildren and host of great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; sister, Cassandra (the late Charles) Dutrieuille of Duquesne.

Family and friends will be received at STRIFFLER’s of McKeesport (Hunter-Edmundson-Strifflers) Funeral Home, 600 Market Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-6191) on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm, with Pastor John T. Davidson, Jr. officiating.
